About

Jesus is the reason this church exists. Through faith in Jesus, sinful people like us are rescued from God's judgment to be saved from sin, death & hell. Jesus' life, death and resurrection, reliably revealed in the Bible, changes everything.

In 1837, this area's first white settler, Major Edward H. Mulford, went public with his faith in Jesus and was baptized in Lake Michigan. And the first church here first met in his "10-Mile House."

Since then, many more people have also gone public with our faith in Jesus through baptism. We come from diverse backgrounds, but we all love Jesus. And we're still getting together in our homes here.

Thanks for visiting our website. You're invited to worship with us this coming Sunday. We pray that you'll stick around, get to know us better, and see how Jesus changes everything.

This is what it often looks like when we gather together in community groups.  We study the Bible and pray together, and our lives change as we connect with God and others. And we look forward to spending time together, during casual conversations like those happening in the above photo.
